Impacts of Climate Change and Anthropogenic Activities on the Net Primary Productivity of Grassland in the Southeast Tibetan Plateau

Climate change and anthropogenic activities have had a profound effect on the variation in grassland productivity Tibetan Plateau recent decades. Quantifying impacts of climatic variables is necessary step making management policies sustainable ecosystem. Net primary (NPP) an important part terrestrial carbon cycle can be used to assess vegetation growth. Based Carnegie–Ames–Stanford Approach model statistical analysis method, this study we estimated variations potential NPP (PNPP), actual (ANPP) human-induced (HNPP) Northwest Sichuan (NWSP) Southeast from 2001 2020. Also, assessed contribution ANPP. The results showed that average values ANPP, PNPP HNPP whole NWSP increased at rates 3.81, 9.14 7.18 g C m−2 a−1, respectively. Grassland ANPP 91.7% total area. Climate-oriented led increase 82.6% area, temperature was dominant factor. Additionally, activity major reason for ANPP’s decline (5.4% area). Overall, our findings are beneficial formulation practical countermeasures regarding climate adaption damaged recovering plateau.
